We start nursery at 9.00. Entrance is via the side garden gate and not the front entrance. Your child’s key teacher will invite you in at 9.00 to join her in their home base.

IMPORTANT – If you arrive after 9.15, the garden gate will be shut and you will need to register your child using the clip board in the front entrance Pick up time is 12.00, via the garden gate.

Parents collecting 30 Hour Rainbow Children at 1.35pm, will enter through the main front entrance, but those collecting at 3pm will enter through the side garden gate.

Pick up safety

I cannot emphasise enough about the importance of keeping the children safe. Because we value the opportunity for parents to bring your children directly to their key teacher – this places the safety responsibility also with you – see the attached letter and share this with anyone who picks up or drops off. Please do not let any visitors into York Road Nursery .

York Road Nursery School receives Early Years Pupil Premium money for some pupils. We provide this information to every new Parent and Carer and meet with individual Parents who feel that their child may be eligible. The funding that is allocated to York Road Nursery School is targeted to support those individual children and to enhance the provision and resources that they have access to every day.

Records are kept of those children who are eligible to ensure that the funding is used carefully to support their needs, interests and development. Assessments are made to monitor their progress.
